Homeowner Association Presentations

Homeowners more than any group understand the impact that high deer populations have on the community. Destruction of ornamental plantings by hungry deer can be frustrating and costly. Disease spread by parasitic insects is a major concern of suburban Homeowner Associations, and vehicle collisions with deer are a constant fear. Eccologix along with our partners will present a common sense explanation of the need for deer management and the effect that unmanaged populations of deer are having on the ecosystems in your community. Eccologix recognizes the importance of including all of the stakeholders in the process of managing suburban ecosystems, but particular attention is placed on homeowner relations. Property access is the key to managing suburban deer populations, and safely incorporating screened archery hunters from our S.U.R.E. program into a suburban community is the most effective method of sustaining responsibly managed deer populations. Property owners always retain control over participating S.U.R.E. archers and dictate the frequency of harvest opportunities, parking, carcass removal and treestand placement.
