Non-Lethal Management is by design an alternative to harvest removal of surplus species that negatively affect the diversity of plant and animal species. It focuses on scientifically approved methods of sustaining species specific populations, or forcing physical changes to the habitat that prevent or discourage interaction with plant or animal species of special concern by any one particular dominant species in the management area.
